Definition-
The organisms that indicate pollution due to
their bloom or maximum density in an ecosystem are referred to as bioindicator.
Collected Bioindicator-
During the
limnological investigation of perennial fish pond of Dumka was conducted and following
organisms were identified as bioindicator in the pond ecosystem.
1. Bloom of Microcystis (These are microphytes found on surface of water, indicate the organic pollution load in the water body).
2. Abundance of Rotifers like Keratella,
Brachionus in maximum density.
3. Bloom of floating macrophytes namely Azolla
species (indicate the Eutrophication nature of water body).

As far as I know that axilla is a good fertilizer so it can be used where it is needed.
ReplyDeletenot axilla, Azolla is correct here
Deleteyeah, it's a good biofertilizer , it's leaf contain cyanobacteria that helps in nitrogen fixation, it is good for mostly paddy field but its bloom in waterbody leads to eutrophication
Azolla not axilla
ReplyDeleteThe axilla (also, armpit, underarm or oxter) is the area on the human body directly under the joint where the arm connects to the shoulder. It also contains many sweat glands.
DeleteAzolla (mosquito fern, duckweed fern, fairy moss, water fern) is a genus of seven species of aquatic ferns in the family Salviniaceae. They are extremely reduced in form and specialized, looking nothing like other typical ferns but more resembling duckweed or some mosses.
